Meet Brian Raudenbush, AKA brian*.
brian* is a graphic designer and art director based in NYC/Philly (NJ...shhh). He got his start in freelancing during the pandemic, when he realized that he was much more passionate about using his talents to uplift other creatives. His mission is to bring as much color back to this neutral world we are living in as he can. With a BA in Advertising and Brand Strategy, he has a unique approach to each project.
Creatively, he expresses himself best through a maximalist and playful composition. He primarily works in the music and film industries. He has experience creating posters, merch, packaging, animations, billboards, social graphics, and print-ready files.

OMG! I’m so glad you asked. Currently, my Letterboxd top 4 are Scooby Doo, The Sweet East, House (1977), & Aftersun. Albums that I hold very close to my heart are Confessions on a Dance Floor, Blue Banisters, Sawayama, THE E.N.D., how i’m feeling now, & The Fame Monster. To keep up with all the current media I’m consuming, subscribe to my newsletter “Consumption”.
- How did you learn graphic design?
I am nothing if not a child of the internet. I learned the fundamental basics of design in school but learned how to do everything by watching YouTube videos. If you’re feeling like you don’t know where to start, do this. Find a piece of work you love and break down what you like about it. The type? The texture? The colors? Start there and experiment with figuring out how to achieve that look yourself. My “style” is really just a conglomeration of all the design tricks that speak to me. If there’s ever anything you want to know more about, please ask me!
